lot of difference. The level of detail for the countries for which google mapmaker is enabled is far superior as compared to normal google maps. For example for the region where google maps shows only two major roads, google map maker shows even local restaurants. qulaity is superior to OSM project. I reqyuest if anyone can make SASPlaneta download the data. thanks

Seems to be a different sat-photos (but not the same photo with a better resolution). Not surprised with the difference in quality than.

Isnt this an "old style" tilename format (used in GM previously), known as TRSQ-tilesets? Dunno...must try to check it over.
