Can we change placemark icons?

Is it possible to add to the set of placemark icons or swap them for another set?

There are no icons in the current set to satisfy the theme I am currently working on.



and p.s.

it sure would be useful if we could change their order in the display so that when I am using the same icon over and over I can move it from the bottom of the display to the top where I can get it quickly.
Is that possible at all?

And batch manipulation. Can that be done? So that I could take all the placemarks in a category and change the icon or whatever. That would be manipulation of the category I guess. That would be useful. Just asking.

Thank you for that. It is good.
So to change icons I just put new ones in the file folder. That's easy enough. Thanks.
And to change the order I just select the one I want to us for now and make it the default?
