Summary0002480: when exporting entire world as visible area, map projection is significantly distorted near poles
DescriptionThe images need to be projected to world mercator meter before converting to other projections to avoid distortion near the poles when zoomed really far out.
Steps To Reproducekeep SASplanet zoomed all the way out and choose visible display, pick any map, download using any zoom level under 16, start. keep SASplanet zoomed all the way out and choose visible display, then stitch, pick the same map as you downloaded, same zoom or lower zoom (anything under 16), output format jpg or png, overlay layer = no, projection EPSG:4326, split image horizontal = 1, vertically = 1, create georeference file = .kml and .w (short ext.), start.
Additional Informationthe distortion causes mexico to end up in wisconsin.

No. This bug is because we not use pure algorithm to reproject images to/from EPSG:4326. Actually, we just do linear transformation of image resolution. Here is old conversation: Как лучше перепроецировать тайлы?

 Что-то я не уловил в чем вопрос. Проблемы при склейке с изменением проекции с меркатора на широта-долгота на зумах меньше 16-го?

 Проблема в смещении объектов, при больших разрешениях. Карта становится бесполезной, а склейка в проекцию долгота/широта вообще становится бессмысленной затеей. Но если юзеру таки нужен снимок в такой проекции, ему придётся юзать что-то стороннее, пока SAS халтурит.

Говорил я - надо честный алгоритм использовать. Вот, получите баг.

 При больших разрешениях не может быть больших смещений. Максимум пару десятков пикселей. Там могут быть глюки привязки. Точка в Гренладнии на 10 зуме находится на своем месте с точностью до пары пикселей. И чем больше зум тем точнее.
