not keeping the labels on download/stitch

I have just installed the 230909 version on a new machine.
It is set for maps: google satellite
and layers: label and borders: google hybrid
Looks fine.
I downloaded a rectangular selection at x16.
Then I stitched that same selection at x16 into one jpg
when I look at the file the labels are not there. there is no text. what have I done wrong? never had this happen before

I have moved to the '22 version. Too many problems with this one.

What difference does it make which version if the boxes are not checked?

It is other aspects are 'the difference'.

You'll take a look? Well okay, thanks for your interest. I still have that installation on that machine. I'll fire it up again and run a couple of 'download' and 'stitch' and see if it's still as screwed up. If it is I will post a screenshot and details of the configuration. If it's not I will post a screenshot and a happy remark. But it might take a little while. I am busy today. But should get to it today, maybe this evening. regards.

Hi.. sorry I'm a bit late.. been busy.

Well I tried again and I can't find any fault this time. I've done a number of different maps, different layers, different zooms and I get perfect results every time.

I was getting a mishmash of unrelated tiles, I thought. When I look back now at those I have saved I think perhaps I was wrong. They are all different shades, the tiles, but zoom in at the borders and actually they do seem to match.

Maybe the whole thing was my own fault, getting too hurried and careless.

I'm sorry to have put yourself to some trouble and thanks for trying to help.
